I’ve been in that kind of situation…although in my case, it’s Mars and Loki vying for my attention…I’ll start hearing woodpeckers all over the place when I know there’s Mischief afoot. Of course, I’ll just say aloud, “can’t you guys just get along? PLEASE!” Then it gets reeeaaaaal quiet. Then I’ll hear a snort and see a branch fall off a tree….<sighs> 

Thankfully, I haven’t had trouble yet with my kids, but it’s always good to be prepared….
